Combine body, mind and emotional work
Ibon Miner
You may be going through a period of anxiety, feeling stuck, or facing uncertainty. Or perhaps you’ve noticed recurring patterns in your relationships and aren’t sure how to change them.
Sometimes there isn’t a clear reason, but there’s a quiet sense that something needs to be attended.
Through a humanistic approach to psychotherapy, I invite you to begin a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and self-acceptance.
Looking beyond a purely cognitive-behavioural approach
I work from an integrative, person-centred approach, adapting therapy to your individual needs.
Rather than starting with labels or diagnoses, I begin with your experience—how you feel, what you’ve been through, and what is causing you distress today.
Therapy is a space to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, but also to create meaningful and lasting change in the way you relate to yourself and to others.
METHOD
The Humanistic Integrative Approach
Humanist Therapy
Humanistic therapy is a client-centred approach to psychotherapy based on the belief that every person has inherent worth, the capacity for growth, and the ability to create meaningful change in their lives.
Integrative Therapy
Integrative therapy draws on techniques from different psychological approaches—including cognitive psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)—to tailor the therapeutic process to each person’s unique needs.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy for trauma that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories in a healthier and more adaptive way.
